System of a Down broke up 10 years ago before getting back together four years later, but it’s still been 11 years since their last album. You heard us right. It’s been 11 years since the band dropped new music on us. The reason why we bring this up is because they have come out and said they are planning on releasing a new album next year!
They have said that they have 15 songs that are worthy of being put on an album, so we truly believe they’re back with new music next year. System of a Down also has festival dates for next year already lined up for those that are in Europe and want to see the band play.
System of a Down’s last album release came in 2005 when they realized their fifth album, “Hypnotize and Mesmerize.”
