Rick Ross Owes $5.7 Million to IRS

TMZ has come out with the news that Rick Ross is in big trouble with the IRS, owing $5.7 million to them in back taxes! Quite honestly, we weren’t even sure that was possible. This huge amount of money is owed to the IRS or Ross will face jail time. The large majority of money owed comes from 2012 where he owes $4.6 million.

Ross’ people seem to be pretty positive about the manner, saying that much of this is to blame because of a previous accountant that incorrectly filed taxes back in 2012.

He issued a statement to explain himself and this is part of what he had to say, “I am fully aware of my current dealings with the IRS. This issue arose from an incorrect filing by a prior accountant for the 2012 tax year.”
