Three years ago Marshall Mathers aka Eminem released “The Marshall Mathers LP2” and it became an instant hit. It almost hit it by surprise it was that good! The album would eventually win the Best Rap Album award at the 2015 Grammy Awards. It would win the Top Rap Album award at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards and overall would be nominated for five total awards from different award shows.
Why do we bring it up today? Well, the album was released three years ago this past weekend! The anniversary is November 5 and we couldn’t let it pass us without recognizing its greatness. Who could forget the album that had five singles on it: “Berzerk,” “Survival,” “Rap God,” “The Monster” and “Headlights?”
We have yet to see Eminem release an album since this one, but it’s hard to disagree with the fact that it was one of his best.
