Green Day has hit number one on the Mediabase Active Rock chart, but has yet to reach number one on the Alternative chart, that is until this week. The band’s latest single, “Bang Bang,” has reached this level after being out multiple weeks. It took over the top spot from Twenty One Pilots. Not surprisingly, there is a big battle at the top between those two and Bastille, whose hit “Good Grief” actually sits at number two this week.

There are no new artists/songs to the chart this week and quite honestly not a whole lot happened from last week to now. The biggest mover of the week was “Heathens” from Twenty One Pilots dropping from one to three. Let’s take a look at the entire top 10…

1. Green Day – Bang Bang
2. Bastille – Good Grief
3. Twenty One Pilots – Heathens
4. Kings of Leon – Waste a Moment
5. Head and the Heart – All We Ever Knew
6. Cage the Elephant – Trouble
7. Phantogram – You Don’t Get Me High Anymore
8. Kaleo – Way Down We Go
9. Grouplove – Welcome to Your Life
10. Judah & the Lion – Take It All Back
