Elle King is a talented artist that we’ve talked about plenty in recent months. Her song “Ex’s and Oh’s” was a great one that we saw at the top of the charts for what felt like forever. She also put out a great country hit with Dierks Bentley that did damage on country charts as well “Different For Girls” just showed off what kind of talent she has and she’s recently said that she wants to build on that.

Elle has talked about coming out with a country album, saying to Rolling Stone recently that she writes country songs and enjoys doing it. She likes that it shows off a different side of her talent. And not surprisingly, she enjoys singing about “getting drunk and getting my heart broken.”

It’ll be interesting to see how far Elle goes with country music, but we’re sure with her talent she’ll be great at it if she decides to make a country album.
