The nominations for the American Music Awards were announced earlier this week and it went along as much as you would expect. Joe Jonas and Rachel Platten helped with the announcing of the nominations on “Good Morning America,” making it an event in itself. Both Jonas and Platten saw themselves receive nominations while reading it out loud, which was cool in itself.
The one award we’re looking at the hardest is the Artist of the Year award. This is the big one with all of the biggest artists of the past year up for a chance at taking home this piece of hardware. The artists range from male to female, from Country to Hip-Hop and from solo artist to groups! There are 10 up for the Artist of the Year. Can you guess who they are?
Without further wait… Adele, Justin Bieber, Drake, Rihanna, Ariana Grande, Beyonce, Selena Gomez, The Weeknd, Carrie Underwood and Twenty One Pilots are all up for Artist of the Year!
