Tiger Woods Delays Return to Golf

This weekend was supposed to be the weekend that we saw Tiger Woods return to golf, but this will no longer be happening. On Monday he announced that he was withdrawing from the Safeway Open. If he had made his return at this tournament it would have marked 14 months away from golf. Instead, the once unstoppable golfer will be delaying his return even more.

Along with the withdrawal from the Safeway Open, Tiger has withdrawn from the Turkish Airlines Open. That tournament is being held November 3 thru 6. The reasoning for Tiger’s delay was injury and now he doesn’t feel he is ready to return. When will he be ready to go? We aren’t quite sure, but we hope it is sometime soon. A healthy and talented Tiger Woods would be great for golf.
