Rod Stewart Loves Himself Some Love

Roderick David Stewart was born in January of 1945, and his life and times have neared epic description. Rod began his musical career with a cameo harmonica appearance in the late 50s single “My Boy Lollipop” by Millie Small, played with groups like the Small Faces, The Jeff Beck Group, eventually creating a solo career that has sold over 100 million records.

Although Rod likes to think of himself a thoroughly British, he hasn’t lived in the UK since 1975.
Rod is a cancer survivor having been diagnosed with throat cancer in 2000. He temporarily lost his voice due to radiation and treatments, but has been cancer free for many years.

Rod is an avid student of WWII, binge watches CNN, and is a hopeless romantic having been married countless times. One of his sons in in the minor leagues of the National Hockey League, and he’s an incredible football (soccer) fan.

Rod is the father of eight children, saying that being a dad is the greatest gift or award he’s ever received.
