“They’re Playing Our Song” is a wonderful autobiography written by Carole Bayer Sager. So who is Carole? She’s the writer of great oldies like “A Groovy Kind of Love,” “Arthurs Theme,” “Nobody Does it Better,” Grammy Award winning “That’s What Friends are For” and “Stronger Together” a song played at the conclusion of the Democratic National Convention this past summer.

Carole spent many years in collaboration in pen and in marriage to legendary songwriter Burt Bacharach until their divorce in 1991. Carole was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1987.
