Alessia Cara and the I Am A Witness Campaign

October is here and you know what that means! It’s officially National Bulling Prevention Awareness Month. One artist in the music game has really taken to making things better this month and that’s Alessia Cara.

Cara’s song, “Scars To Your Beautiful,” is being used in a big way during the I Am A Witness Campaign. They have started a “social good emoji” project as well as worked with musical.ly and live.ly to get more activity from the youth of America.

Everyone around the world has been challenged to put together a 15 second clip to Cara’s song showing what the proper course of action is when someone is to see someone get bullied. Also, Cara’s song is used in “Ben’s Story,” which is the latest promotional video released by this campaign in hopes of ending bullying. Kudos to you Alessia Cara for your work this month and every month!
