Green Day fans must be pretty excited this week because the band has recently announced that they will be headlining the British Summer Time Festival, occurring on July 1 of 2017. The festival will be taking place at Hyde Park in London. Hyde Park is just one of the city’s eight Royal Parks. By supporting this festival you’re also helping with the upkeep of these parks, which is vital to their survival as the years come and go.
It’s a little bit of ways away, but at least the band’s fans will have their new album to talk about soon! Tickets go on sale Friday, which is also the release date of the band’s 12 album, “Revolution Radio.” No other acts have been announced for this festival, but we’re excited they’ll be ones we want to see as well!
