John Legend to Perform at John Legend Theater

It wasn’t long ago that we told you about John Legend’s donation to a high school in his hometown. He went to Springfield North High School back in the day. Legend gave half a million dollars to help renovation the theater at what will now be known as the John Legend Theater at the Springfield Center of Innovation: The Dome.

Now it is being reported that Legend will be performing at the opening ceremony for The Dome, which will definitely be a site to see. The theater will have 680 seats, making it quite the place for students to show off their talents and creativity.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place on October 9.
