We’re inching our way to Halloween, Thanksgiving, and the commercially bloated holiday season, so let’s start your work week with a few music news headlines…

It’s hard to believe but Van Morrison is about to release his 36th album ‘Keep Me Singing’ this month. This gifted performer has earned six Grammy awards and has been inducted into the Rock N’ Roll Hall and Songwriters Halls of Fame.

Although we lost Glenn Frey earlier this year, Don Henley told reporters this past week that Eagles reunion could still happen.

Joe Perry has just completed the work in the studio for his latest solo project, expected to be released later this fall. It’s been an interesting year for Joe, collapsing on stage a few months ago while traveling with the Hollywood Vampires, getting on in age.

Birthdays this week include Bob Geldof, Brian Wilson, Steve Miller, David Lee Roth and Daryl Hall.
