Blake Lively and Amy Schumer are known for their strength and confidence in their appearance and they’re out to help others in their quest for self-confidence. Recently, they took to the media to call out magazines and their covers.
It all started with Amy Schumer who posted a photo of two magazine covers on Instagram. One was of a magazine meant for young women, Girls’ Life, and one meant for young men, Boys’ Life. The covers were so different with the girls magazine talking about looks and being pretty while the boys magazine showing “explore your future” and “be who you want to be.” Amy captioned it “No.”
Blake would see the post on Instagram and screenshot it before posting it on her own account. Good for these two to point out the differences in magazine covers and to help our youth become a more confident group of young adults.
