Selena Gomez is currently taking a break from music and her tour, but the sales are still continuing to come. It is this week that she has earned her very first platinum record! We’re talking about “Revival” of course, the album she released just last October to much success.
The album had a whole bunch of hits, including “Good for You,” “Same Old Love,” “Kill Em with Kindness” and “Hands to Myself.” Seriously, these were all big hits for her and are still played on the radio nonstop!
Rolling Stone called “Revival” the fifth best pop album of 2015, while Entertainment weekly ranked the record number nine! It also saw itself on the rankings of other publications/critics like Slant Magazine, Fuse and Spin.
