Pink has always been controversial. Roger Waters an original member has taken a great deal of heat for his alliance with the Palestinians, refused to join the band when they were inducted into the Hall of Fame, and frankly most the band simply wanted to be the bet blues band ever, not a pop commercial sues.
The boys in the band were actually quite boring in the beginning, never drinking until being booed with Janis Joplin one concert night.
Alan Parsons earned incredible acclaim for his producing Pink Floyd’s greatest album “Dark Side of the Moon” was never paid for it. He would later tell reporters that at first he was furious, and then thrilled with all the notoriety it brought him.
Just before the lyrics on the song “Empty Spaces” from the Wall, you can hear noises or barely audible talking. If you were to record it and play it backward, it would play “Congratulations you’ve just discovered the secret message.”
