When Holly Dunn celebrated her 59th birthday just the other day, she never thought she’d have to hear terrible news the very next day. Unfortunately this is exactly what happened, as she has announced that she has ovarian cancer.
She has said that her diagnosis is of a very aggressive and rare form of ovarian cancer with her prognosis not looking great. In typical Holly Dunn fashion though, she has said, “Good thing I don’t believe in statistics!” In this tough time it’s nice to see her stay positive. To her, it is her faith and family that are keeping her going.
In 2003 Holly retired from the music industry after releasing 10 albums! What a career she had.
Smokey Robinson will be honored at the upcoming 2016 edition of the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation's Annual Fall Gala. The event is scheduled for October 29 in Old Greenwich, Connecticut.
