Getting married is a life changing event. Choosing the right music for the ceremony and or bride and grooms reception can also be difficult. How about a few suggestions for the right music at the wedding?

“Butterfly Kisses” by Bob Carlisle is the absolute anthem for that dance with the bride’s father.

Now, there are a few songs to absolutely avoid. “Celebration” by Kool and the Gang because the song has been hijacked by every bad sports moment and political scandal since it was a hit. The Black Eyed Peas tune “I Got a Feeling” is so overused, suggesting that there is only one night worth remembering.

Finally, “YMCA,” “Proud Mary,” The “Chicken Dance,” and “Macarena” are songs that have died and gone to heaven. They received a proper burial so leave them whistling past the grave please.
