Suicide Squad Soundtrack Hits Number One

Suicide Squad came out on Aug. 5 and on that same day the movie soundtrack was released. Who would have known that this album would be such a huge hit, but it has shown to be one. There are so many hits from so many artists on it that we really should have expected it to be a number one hit, because that’s exactly what it is.

This week the soundtrack debut number one on the Billboard 200 chart behind hits from Panic! at the Disco, Twenty One Pilots, Rick Ross and more. This debut from Suicide Squad has had such a good week that it’s even the best debut since the Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack sold 210,000 units in late February. The Suicide Squad soundtrack sold 128,000 units in its debut week.
