Demi Lovato uses her social media frequently and just recently she posted something on her Snapchat that was worthy of an apology. After posting a video where her mom makes a joke about the Zika virus and people in Brazil getting it, people got riled up and started posting about it.
To be fair to Demi, she didn’t make the comments. On the other hand, she did laugh at the joke and in some ways that condones those kinds of jokes. In her apology, she said that she was laughing at how her mom sounded and not the actual joke she made.
What’s crazy was people on social media using the hashtag #DemiLovatoIsOverParty in their criticism of her Snapchat video. What a weekend for Demi, but things seemed to have cooled down since the apology.
