Carrie Underwood’s Sunday Night Football Intro

Months ago, we told you that Carrie Underwood again be doing the Sunday Night Football intro for NBC and we’re starting to see bits and pieces of how it’ll look come NFL season. Earlier this week, NBC released a 15-second clip of it and we were mightily impressed.

After many years of the theme song being a play on “I Hate Myself for Love You” by Joan Jett, it has now become a similar version of Underwood’s “Somethin’ Bad.” It’s a great change of pace and sounds equally awesome. That song came out in 2014 and was actually a duet with Miranda Lambert.
