Reports are coming out that Ed Sheeran is being sued over the similarities between his song, “Thinking Out Loud,” and Marvin Gaye’s hit, “Let’s Get It On.” TMZ is saying that family members of Ed Townsend, the co-writer of “Let’s Get It On,” is moving forward with legal action against Sheeran. He says that he has taken parts of the melody, rhythm and harmony to create “Thinking Out loud.”
For those that may not remember, Ed Sheeran is not new to legal action against him and his music. Just earlier this year there was an accusation over his hit, “Photograph.” This happened just a few months ago in June.
