There are many feats and records that will never be broken and we might have just found the newest one. Jim Furyk shot an amazing 58 at the Travelers Championship, which makes him the first golfer ever to do so on the PGA Tour. He racked up 10 birdies and an eagle on the way to this amazing feat. It has taken over 1.5 million rounds on the PGA Tour for this to happen, so you can bet we might not see this record be broken ever again.
Furyk was emotional after the big day, as he knows just how amazing he played on Sunday. For those that don’t remember, he shot a 59 at the BMW Championship back in 2013. He’s not a flashy golfer, but his consistency has resulted in some big wins and rounds over the years.
