Yellow Brick Road: The Ultimate Elton John Tribute band and performance is one of the more celebrated tribute moments of all of rock. Gerald Brann is Elton, Doug Stackhouse is Davey Johnstone, while Mike Tobias, Mark Kavanaugh, and Kevin Ostrowski round out the group.
If you’re in the mood for a musical, the production of ‘Here We Come… A Monkees Parody Musical’ may be right up your alley. The guys do a nice job in appearances and musical chops, paying homage to the real talents of the original TV series stars.
Journey may be the best band ever, and ‘Voyage’ the Journey tribute band may be the best of the best. There are over 50 Journey tribute bands in the USA; Voyage starring Hugo Valenti may be the most respected. Hugo IS Steve Perry (he really looks like Steve, but that’s a prerequisite right?) while Greg Smith, Robby Hoffman, Charlie Zeleny and Al Spinelli round out this highly talented tribute band.
