Demi Lovato’s Moving Speech and Performance at DNC

The DNC is going strong this week in Philadelphia and performers have gone on stage and did their thing, but none have done it like Demi Lovato. When she got on stage she made it a point to talk about mental illness and show the world that you can overcome such a thing. She is living proof!

Demi requested that politicians do more for those with mental illnesses especially passing laws that would give these troubled people insurance so they can get help. She really fears that people with mental illnesses just aren’t getting help because they’re scared or can’t afford it.

After Demi gave her two cents, she performed “Confident” for us all to enjoy.
