It was six years ago this week that One Direction was formed and girls everywhere lost their minds. The band is currently on hiatus, but we’re not so sure we them back together again with all of the success some of the band members have had.

It started with “Up All Night” in 2011 and it ended with “Made in the A.M.” last year. In between, there were three albums that were all big hits, “Take Me Home,” “Midnight Memories” and “Four.” Can you imagine these five albums garnering 366 nominations? Well, they did and they won 242 of them!

The band did their best at the Teen Choice Awards, winning 27 of the 29 nominations there, but never did win a Grammy. Hopefully after they return from hiatus we’ll see them take home some Grammy hardware.

Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson have brought it since day one with the band while Zayn Malik bolted a year early for his solo career. Needless to say, we hope to see this band back in action before it’s all said and done.
