Looking Back at Michael Buble’s Upbringing

Four-time Grammy Award winner Michael Buble turned 40 last fall. Michael and his wife Luisana Lopilato’s had a second child, born in late January of this year. And Noah their first was born in 2013, so you could say he’s had a busy last few years or so!

Michael is one of the best Canadian imports in recent memory, born in British Columbia in 1975. How’s this for an accomplished and interesting family.. Michael’s dad is a Salmon fisherman and one of his younger sisters is a celebrated children’s book author, while the other is an actress.

Like all Canadian teenagers, Michael dreamed of playing in the NHL, confessing that if were any good at the sport we would have never heard him sing. Michael’s big break took a left turn, when as an 18 year old he entered a talent contest and won. Unfortunately, the judges ruled that he was too young to have participated, so they disqualified him. Undaunted, Michael’s dad entered him in a Canadian Talent Search contest which he won. The rest as they say is history.
