Forbes Most Valuable Sports Franchises

Forbes has been running down the highest earning celebrities, stars and performers over the last few days and now we get to see how sports teams around the globe compare to each other in terms of total worth.

You might not be surprised to see the Dallas Cowboys as the most valuable sports franchise in the world, coming in at $4 billion! They are one of three NFL teams on the list with the New England Patriots being valued at $3.2 billion and the New York Giants valued at $2.8 billion.

Coming in at second and third on the list are two football teams thousands of miles away from us in America, Real Madrid and Barcelona. Real Madrid is worth $3.65 while Barcelona is worth $3.55 billion.

The New York Yankees are the most valuable baseball franchise, being valued at $3.4 billion. Rounding out the top five is Manchester United and their $3.32 billion worth.
