The MLB All Star Game has come and gone and the festivities were as great as they could ever be. The Home Run Derby was one we’ll remember for quite some time and the All Star Game itself had some huge home runs as well. Let’s take a look back at the 2016 All Star week…

The Home Run Derby switched formats and made it a timed event, giving batters four minutes to hit as many home runs as possible. Giancarlo Stanton could not be stopped as he hit a record amount of home runs, 61. Guys like Corey Seager, Mark Trumbo, Adam Duvall, Carlos Gonzalez and the rest of those involved with the event made this one fun to watch!

The American League took home the win on Tuesday night, beating the National League off a few home runs hit by teammates. Eric Hosmer and Salvador Perez hit back to back home runs early on to take the lead from the National League and they never looked back. Hosmer would also be the game’s MVP.
