In 1998, Leonardo DiCaprio launched his foundation helping save the endangered and wild parts of the world that need to be saved. It also helps with research for climate change and environmental awareness, two things often overlooked in our every day lives. He’s been wildly successful raising money for this foundation and this year he plans to put on quite a show at St. Tropez.
The event is going down on July 20 and there is a star-studded guest list for it. Kate Hudson, Scarlett Johansson, Cate Blanchett and Charlize Theron are just a few that are supposed to be in attendance for the gala that raised $40 million last year. At this event there will of course be performers, as Lana Del Rey and The Weeknd have been slotted to sing as well as special guest, Andrea Bocelli.
