Over the weekend came a date that many in the music industry will never forget. One June 25 of 2009, one of the best in the business passed away at the age of 50. Yes, we’re talking about Michael Jackson and his tragic passing seven years ago.
Michael was an interesting and captivating musician in part because we saw him perform from such a young age. He was a member of the Jackson 5 and we fell in love immediately.
He was the best of performers, being known for making the robot and moonwalk popular (that in itself is a huge achievement), which made his music videos so great. Who could forget his huge hits like “Bad,” Beat It,” “Thriller,” “Dirty Diana” and “Man in the Mirror?”
Michael Jackson was one of the greatest and this past weekend it hurt to think he wasn’t on this earth doing what he loved doing the most.
