Previous CFDA Fashion Icon Award Winners

With Beyonce winning the CFDA Fashion Icon Award on Monday night, it got us thinking, “Who else has won this award?” Well, there are more than enough to talk about and one or two might surprise you. In total, there are four artists that have won the award, including Beyonce just this week. The other three might shock or surprise you. You tell us.

In 2011, Lady Gaga was the recipient of this award, which should come as no surprise. She’s a revolutionary when it comes to unique and different styles of clothing. How many teams have we seen her at an event and said, “Wow!” The answer is plenty.

In 2014, Rihanna won the award and we’re thinking her ability to be strong and confident is a huge reason why. She’s not afraid to show off her body or wear something “unusual” and she usually does great with it because of her confidence.

The most surprising winner to us is Pharrell in 2015. He won the award just last year. Maybe it was because of his hats? We’re unsure to be honest with you.
