CMT has decided to launch a summertime concert event and they have partnered with Jason Aldean in doing so. Aldean will be the first featured artist that the event has and we’re sure the network hopes to continue this event for many years to come.
The details for the event are that Jason Aldean will be performing on June 19 in Chicago and CMT will record and air the concert as a two-hour show. There are no details surrounding the timing of the airing, but what will be cool is the network including backstage interviews and looks. These types of things would be missed from the concert viewing experience if not for CMT.
Thomas Rhett and A Thousan Horses will also be featured throughout the event.
