Last week we discussed some of the top pitchers in the game of baseball, so today we’re going to talk pitching. There are plenty of teams struggling to find their aces or any sort of pitching depth. Adding a few players like the ones we’re about to talk about would be a huge addition for any team.

Clayton Kershaw leads the MLB in innings pitched, WAR, and walks per nine. He’s also sporting the 12th best ERA to go along with a 4-1 record. The guy has been close to unhittable this year!

Chris Sale leads the MLB in wins (7) even though he has posted only an 8.40 K/9 this season. His 1.79 ERA is seventh best in baseball right now.

Jake Arrieta already has a no-hitter this season and is sporting a 1.13 ERA, second best in baseball. He too is sporting a K/9 of 8.25.

Jordan Zimmermann has been the only good pitcher for the Tigers this season. He has a 5-1 record and leads the MLB in ERA (1.10). Amazingly, he’s doing this with just a 5.49 K/9.
