Fitz and the Tantrums is the brand new band to the top 10 on the Mediabase charts and we aren’t well versed in who they are. Because of this, we did a little bit of extra research on this band from Los Angeles.
They released their debut album back in August of 2010 and saw it reach the top spot on the Billboard Heatseekers chart. The album was called “Pickin’ Up the Pieces” and it was a major hit.
The band released a second album in 2013 called “More than Just a Dream,” but it didn’t have the success their debut album had. The band plans to release an album in June of this year and by the looks of their recent single, “HandClap,” it’s going to be more like the debut than their second album.
