Shia LaBeouf has had more than his fair share of ups and downs throughout his acting career, but he apparently is a very hated man. Just this week, a man that looked a lot like Shia was punched in the face. While traveling in Manhattan this week, Mario Licato was blindsided by a random person with a punch to the face.
Apparently, the man who assaulted the LaBeouf look a like yelled at him “This is because you look like Shia LaBeouf.” What an unfortunate turn of events for this man. It’s one thing to have a doppleganger that is not a well-liked man, but its another thing to get punched over it.
You can find pictures of this look-a-like on Instagram under the handle @mariolicato. Funnily enough, the real Shia LaBeouf gave Mario a call and apologized for what happened. What a crazy story!
