At the moment Elvis was being honored by then President Richard Nixon for his anti-drug stance, he and Pricilla had already taken LSD and other mind altering chemicals. Rumor has it he was higher than a kite in the famous Elvis-Nixon photograph.

While a resident of Memphis, Elvis watched many movies. No, not from his home, but he would rent out the entire local movie theater, the ‘Memphian,’ and watch whatever he wanted, with whom ever he asked to join him.

On the last day of Elvis’s life, in fact his last words, in his last few minutes on earth while heading off to the bathroom (where he would later be found dead of a heart attack) he said aloud ‘This is going to be my last concert tour.”
