Getting to Know Ellie Goulding

Ellie Goulding is one of the pleasant surprises in music over the last few years, and we find it interesting that not only did she learn to play the clarinet at an early age, but moved on to the guitar because she didn’t see herself sitting in an orchestra. Ellie is also ambidextrous as she been photographed signing autographs with both hands.

Ellie loves cheese, confessing at an early age she went on cheese binges, causing her parents to be concerned. The good news is she can eat as much cheese as she wants because Ellie is an avid runner, running between 3 and 6 miles per day while on tour, and is a known participant of local 5 and 10 Ks. A few years ago Ellie posted a personal best for a half marathon (13.2 miles) with a time of 1 hour and 35 minutes.

Ellie is making tour stops in Minneapolis May 5th, Chicago May 6th, Cleveland May 7th Ann Arbor May 9th, and Columbus May 19th.
