The 31st class of the Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame will be inducted at the Brooklyn at Barclays Center on April 8th. This year’s honorees are Chicago, Cheap Trick, Deep Purple, Steve Miller, and N.W.A…

Pearl Jam, Jethro Tull, The Moody Blues, and Yes are a few of the deserving acts not yet in the hall. Today, we’ll focus our attention on Steve Miller.

Steve Miller is from that rocking town of Milwaukee. He is family friends with the legendary Les Paul. Les and his wife Mary (a great guitarist in her own right) were often at the house in Steve’s youth. Steve would eventually move to Texas.

The unknown Steve Miller Band (at the time of their career) can be heard as the backup band on the popular Chuck Berry ‘Live at Fillmore Auditorium’ album.

Steve Miller owns nearly 500 guitars. Steve Miller is responsible for 18 studio albums, six live and seven complilation albums. Steve Miller has had over 30 singles played on pop radio.
