Many people feel that the place they grew up is owed something from them for molding them into what they’ve become as a person. Sean “Diddy” Combs is definitely one of those people. After growing up in Harlem, New York, he is doing more than just giving back. He’s giving kids in Harlem a chance to become something more.

Diddy has announced that he will be opening a school in Harlem called Combs and Capital Preparatory Schools and that will be open for the upcoming school year, 2016-2017. The school will be accepting sixth and seventh graders to start, meaning its first graduating class will come in 2023. The goal of the school in terms of size is to be just 700 students.

The exact location of the school will be 1 East 104th Street and is not too far from Central Park.
