With NCAA’s March Madness starting Tuesday night and continuing for weeks and weeks, there will be plenty of chances to see the future of the NBA. With 68 schools playing during that stretch, it’s no surprise that the top talent will be on the hardwood.

The likely top pick in the draft won’t be playing, Ben Simmons (LSU), but two picks vying for the second spot in the draft will be. We’re talking about California’s Jaylen Brown and Duke’s Ben Ingram. Both are freshman and both can play a variety of positions on the court. Ingram needs to grow into his body, as he’s under 200 pounds, but has more potential due to his size and ability to score from anywhere on the court.

Two seniors that will be trying to end their career as the last winner of the season are Buddy Hield (Oklahoma) and Denzel Valentine (Michigan State). Both have benefitted from staying all four years and both are in the running for the player of the year award. Hield will surely be picked ahead of Valentine due to his ridiculous shooting ability at the shooting guard position, but many teams love Valentine’s triple double ability with his great rebounding for his size (6’6) and vision on the court.

There are also a variety of freshman big men besides Ben Ingram to consider taking a peak at like Deyona Davis from Michigan State, Skal Labissiere from Kentucky, Ivan Rabb from California, and Diamond Stone from Maryland.

Make sure to take a gander at all of the players mentioned above these next few weeks before they are donning NBA jerseys.
