At this year’s Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, Adele was a nominee for two awards: Favorite Song of the Year and Favorite Female Singer. She clearly had a great chance at sweeping those two awards because of her work on “25” and her huge monster “Hello.” This didn’t happen, but she didn’t come home empty handed.

While Adele lost out on Favorite Female Singer to Ariana Grande, she did take home the Favorite Song of the Year award. In impressive fashion, she took down a slew of great songs and artists. The “losers” include Justin Bieber, Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift featuring Kendrick Lamar, Drake, and The Weeknd. You could say that your song is pretty awesome beating out a list of artists like that!

Adele was nominated back in 2013 for Favorite Female Singer, but did not come away with the award back then either. This year’s win is her first ever at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.
