Many don’t know this but Tina Fey was the writer for the 2004 film, Mean Girls. The movie was a big among those into drama filled girl friendships and Tina has actually confirmed they are working on a musical version of the movie. She confirmed this earlier this week on Watch What Happens Live to the host, Andy Cohen.

While she has not confirmed a time where we can expect to see this musical, she has confirmed none of the actresses from the movie will be featured. This obviously includes her as she was one of the mothers in the 2004 movie.

The movie grossed $129 million, but writing a musical version will be much different for Tina.
