On Wednesday we discussed the new band/song to the chart: Empire of the Sun. They’ve got a great hit in “Walking on a Dream” and will surely be hitting the top five of the Mediabase charts in no time. One band who is holding on to top five status is Coldplay.
Coldplay has had a crazy 2016 and the band is doing quite well. Their hit “Adventure of a Lifetime” was once number one on the chart, but it has now dropped all the way down to four in one week. They’ve been replaced by Foals, Nothing But Thieves, and Cage the Elephant at the top.
Coldplay’s drop is the major change, but let’s take a look at how the rest of the top 10 looks…
