Dawin and Adele Receive Radio Disney Nominations

Over the weekend, the nominees for the 2016 Radio Disney Music Awards were announced and they did not disappoint. One of the fun things about this award show are the titles of the awards. An award might be for the Best Male Artist, but it’s also known as “He’s the One.” The Breakout Artist of the Year is also known as “The Buzz.”

Dawin and Adele are two of the artists that will have a chance at taking some hardware home on Saturday, April 30 in Los Angeles. Dawin hit the radio waves because of the song he and Silento worked on together, “Dessert.” He’s up for the Stuck in Our Heads award, which is better known as the Best Song to Lip Sync to.

Adele is up for two awards and is surely going to be up for many more as the year progresses. She’ll be up for She’s the One (Best Female Artist) and the Heartbreak award (Best Breakup Song) thanks to her song “Hello.”
