The first Lonely Island movie title has been announced by Universal and it’ll be known as “Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping.” Adam Sandberg and crew will be the stars of this flick that releases on June 3 to theaters.
Other stars in the movie include Sarah Silverman, Maya Rudolph, and Tim Meadows. While these are the stars, the producers for the movie include Jorma Taconne and Akiva Schaffer. These two are also a part of the Lonely Island group. Together, Sandberg and the rest of the Lonely Island group wrote the script.
The plot of the movie is Sandberg as a rapper is looking to increase his fame after his latest album release is a dud. He attempts to do this by trying to team up with his former band mates. One thing is for sure. We’re looking forward to seeing Sandberg on the big screen.
