Elton John’s Oscar Party

For 24 years, Elton John has hosted an Oscar’s party after the award show and raised money for AIDS. Well this past party raised over $6 million, making it a huge success of his foundation. What an increase in money raised, as he says that his first party raised $300,000.

At one point in the night, Elton performed with his band for all to hear. Some of those in attendance Sunday night include Dave Grohl, Mariah Carey, Lana Del Ray, Ashlee Simpson, Ashley Tisdale, Zooey Deschanel, Vince Vaughn, and Boy George among many others.

The party happened at The City of West Hollywood Park in West Hollywood, California.
