Chris Rock will be hosting your 88th Oscars ceremony on Sunday night, so it’s about time we get to know him a little better.
He’s most known for his work as a comedian and he’s truthfully hilarious. Comedy Central did a poll in the past voting him as the fifth-greatest stand-up comedian, quite an honor.
Chris was born in South Carolina over 50 years ago and is considered a comedian, writer, producer, director, and actor. He can easily be considered a jack-of-all-trades.
He’s been nominated for a Grammy three different times and has won all three of them. He won the Best Comedy Album in 1998, 2000, and 2006.
We’re all excited to see him host the Oscars on February 28, which will be the second time of him doing so as he hosted in 2005.
