Vevo Looking to Expand

Vevo is a website widely known for their work in showing music videos and the commercials that come with them. One thing they’re exploring is creating an ad-free subscription, which Pandora, YouTube Red and others have done in the past. The biggest difference being that Pandora is popular on smartphones, while Vevo is an Internet based website. And from the sound of everything, the ad-free service subscription is a plan they’re currently moving forward with.

What makes Vevo so interesting and entertaining is that it is a music video provider compared to Pandora, Spotify, and a few others who only stream the music (and not the video). Currently, there is no word on how much the ad-free service will cost, but YouTube Red currently sits at $10 a month. Because of this, we can’t expect it to cost much more unless significant changes are made to cause it.
