Sam Hunt Wows Us Even in Loss

Sam Hunt had himself a big Grammy moment this past Monday night, but it wasn’t because of a few wins. While he was nominated for two Grammys (Best New Artist and Best Country Album), he did a great job of performing on the big stage.

Hunt and Carrie Underwood donned the stage early on in the show, being introduced by Von Miller and Anquan Boldin. These two have been named the MVP of the big NFL game (Miller) and the NFL’s Man of the Year (Boldin), so it only makes sense that they introduce Hunt to the stage. After all, Hunt was a college quarterback before he was a star country singer.

Hunt has never won a Grammy, but then again these two nominations were his first of very many we think. Although he’s 31 years old, Hunt only signed with MCA Nashville two years ago.
